August 12, 2011. I spent my freshmen year back in the day at Utah State in 86, and spent a lot of time up this canyon--fishing, skiing and spelunking--exploring in a cave; which I did only once and that was one time to many. I have fished this river a few half a dozen times since then, and I really like it. It is medium sized for Utah, and has some great holes. We fished the Blacksmith this morning, and then headed over here. You can fish both rivers in a day no problem. Next time I am up here though, I think I will stay on the Blacksmith the whole time.
